Foothill STEM Scholarships


Apply now for one of the more than 20 science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) scholarships available to Foothill College students. Scholarship recipients receive $1400 per quarter for up to six quarters, have first choice of internships, and are paired with Foothill STEM faculty members in a one-to-one mentorship program.

Women in STEM Club

This is a brand new club to support female STEM students by providing mentoring programs, networking connections, tips for STEM classes, professors, internships, or job opportunities. Students can also get motivated by STEM professional guest speakers/conferences, and get volunteer experience in STEM fields! All genders are welcome. Our first meeting will be held this Friday, October 9th from 11am to 12pm.

NASA program for students

NASA is currently seeking community college STEM majors for its Fall 2015 NCAS program! NCAS participants interact with NASA scientists and engineers during a four-day onsite experience at a regional NASA Center.

Selected students are U.S. citizens currently pursuing their first undergraduate degrees at a community college. • Participants must be high school graduates and at least 18 years of age, and able to commit to a 5 week online session and a four-day onsite experience at a NASA Center. Travel, housing, and meals will be paid by NASA for the four-day experience.
