Facebook invites students to information security virtual meet and greet

Julian Nagler from Facebook's Information Security team says that his company sees first hand how the shortage of qualified talent in the infosec field is negatively impacting the industry, and the safety of the internet at large. So they have scheduled a virtual meet and greet for next Friday, March 20th, from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. They'd be honored to have our CS club, or any other interested students join and participate.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for students to ask any questions they may have about careers in information security, the ins and outs of various jobs within the field, or any other pressing questions they may have. This is by no means meant to be a recruiting event, rather it will be focused on doing what we can to present the attractiveness of a career in information security.

Students should RSVP to the event here, and submit any questions they'd like addressed to meetsecurity@fb.com
The event will be hosted via livestream here
